The Pfister Hotel has announced the names of six finalists for its artist in residency program, which is heading into its fourth year. The finalists are Pamela Anderson, Matt Duckett, Albin Erhart, Hal Koenig, Brandon Minga and Timothy Westbrook.

“Each year of this program we are astounded by the amazing talent seen in the applicants,” said Joe Kurth, The Pfister’s general manager, in a statement. “With great consideration, the selection committee has chosen six outstanding artists who remain in the running. Now it’s time for the public to help us decide who will be moving into The Pfister come spring.”

The work of the six finalists will be on view at Galerie M at the InterContinental Milwaukee during Gallery Night, Jan. 20. The public will be invited to weigh in on their choice for the next artist in residence starting in mid January. Voting can be done at the hotel’s web site and Facebook page, as well as on Twitter.

The winner of the residency receives a working studio near the Pfister’s elegant lobby and a stipend. The current artist in residence is Shelby Keefe. Past artists have included Katie Musolff and Reginald Baylor.
